Crafting is the process of making/manufacturing items from locally available objects.
Today, our children, from soil, tree branches, banana fibers crafted soccer balls, constructed houses, made aeroplanes from papers to a variety of things.
All children in primary are off today and tomorrow to give space and a conducive environment for their fellow candidates sitting their primary leaving examinations in these two days. They will resume school on Friday.
The idea was that each child thinks of something to craft and come up with a complete product. This was made to determine the children dreams and wants.
Part of our staff were involved in the process. We played with some of the crafted items such as balls, aeroplanes to mention but a few.
At Amahoro we encourage invention and innovation.
